Strikes are recorded when a strike-based rule is breached. Hard breaches are separate. A breach of the Static Maximum Drawdown or the Static Daily Drawdown closes the account immediately and does not produce a strike or a restart.
On Solo the funded Maximum Floating Drawdown is the principal strike-based rule. Each breach records one strike and applies a 10% reduction to your Reward Payment. The fifth funded strike closes the account.
Where a strike arises during the challenge, strikes 1 to 4 each restart the relevant phase and the fifth closes the account. Strike counts carry across Phase 1, Phase 2, and any challenge restarts, so passing Phase 1 does not reset your count. The count resets to zero when you achieve Simulated Funded Status.
[PENDING CONFIRMATION: whether funded strike Reward Payment reductions stack within a payout cycle, and which rules other than the funded floating drawdown can generate a strike. With notional volume now governed by the margin limit, the EA and VPN sanction may be the only remaining challenge-stage strike trigger.]
