The Total Risk Rule sets a limit on the maximum amount of risk you can have across all open trades at any given time.
For example:
If you have a Two Step Challenge account, your Total Risk Limit is 5.0%.
This means that if you have multiple open trades, their combined risk cannot exceed 5.0% of your account balance.
Example
Let’s say you have a $100,000 Two Step Challenge account: You can risk:
2.0% on EUR/USD
1.5% on NAS100
1.0% on XAU/USD
Total risk = 4.5% (within the limit, so it is fine)
You CANNOT risk:
3.0% on EUR/USD
2.5% on NAS100
Total risk = 5.5% (this would violate the rule and lead to a breach)
Your dashboard tracks this in real-time, so you can always monitor and adjust your positions accordingly.
