Promo codes, vouchers, affiliate discounts, and other promotional offers usually cannot be combined with other offers. A code may not work if it is expired, withdrawn, not valid for the selected product, already used, or not available for your account.
The checkout page will normally show whether a code has been accepted before you complete payment.
