Platform leverage and margin determine how much margin is required on the Trading Platform. Buying power and effective exposure may be affected by platform leverage, margin rates, account equity, open positions, symbol settings, and internal risk controls.
Notional Volume is a separate exposure rule. A trade can be permitted by margin but still exceed the Notional Volume Limit. Platform leverage does not override Notional Volume, drawdown, or exposure limits.
