To manage risk, each account has a maximum allowed total position size, called the Notional Volume Limit.
This limit defines how large your combined open trades can be at any time, relative to your account balance.
The following is not allowed:
Opening or holding positions that exceed your total allowed exposure
Ignoring the maximum combined position size across multiple trades
In short: your total open positions must always stay within your account’s exposure limit.
Example:
For a $50,000 account with a 2,000% Notional Volume Limit, your total exposure cannot exceed $1,000,000.
On EURUSD, the notional value is based on EUR.
For example, 10 standard lots equal €1,000,000 (approximately $1,000,000).
Helpful Tool:
Your Trader Dashboard includes a Notional Volume Calculator, which shows in real time how much you can trade based on your current balance and open positions.
If this limit is exceeded, it may lead to account review, payout reduction, strikes, or account termination.
