These are two distinct concepts and understanding the difference will help you navigate the framework with confidence:
A warning is a notification. It carries no immediate penalty and is designed to give you visibility and time to act. There are two levels:
1.0% soft warning notification – an early informational heads-up, no consequence
1.5% formal warning notification – a clear signal to review your position, but still not a strike on the first occurrence
A strike is a formal penalty within the Instant Funding framework. It is issued after the first formal warning has already been given. Strikes accumulate across your account.
Think of it this way: a warning is Finotive giving you the chance to correct course. A strike is what happens when that chance was not taken.
